HC Deb 09 December 1958 vol 597 c22W
Sir J. Hutchison

asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to make a statement on the conclusion of an agreement between this country and Euratom.

The Prime Minister

On 3rd December the Euratom Council approved in principle the text of an Agreement prepared by representatives of the Euratom Commission and of Her Majesty's Government, but they asked that the text of one of the Articles should be reconsidered. Negotiations have therefore been re-opened on this point.
