§ 86. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Minister of Education to what extent he has authorised local education authorities to exempt school children for Christmas work in the Post Office before the end of the school term.
§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydI have approved arrangements under which local education authorities may decide in the light of local circumstances whether children over 16 should be given a few days leave of absence at the end of term to help with the Christmas mail.
