§ 79. Mr. G. Brownasked the Minister of Defence whether he will make a statement on the progress made in the negotiations with the other Western European Union countries to achieve co-operation and co-ordination in the production of weapons.
§ Mr. SandysThe meeting of the North Atlantic Council, which I attended in Paris last week, reached full agreement on measures to achieve closer co-operation on military research, development and production within the framework of Western European Union. The North Atlantic Council will be kept fully informed, so that other member countries may participate in these activities.
