§ Mr. Iain MacleodI am aware that, as in the country as a whole, there has been some increase in unemployment in building and civil engineering and their ancillary industries. There is also some short-time working in the metal industries in these towns. My local officers are doing all that is possible to submit unemployed workers to vacancies.
