§ Captain Kerbyasked the Attorney-General what steps are being taken to ensure that the county courts will be able to cope speedily and efficiently with the 66W new cases which will overtake them as a result of the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant (Temporary Provisions) Bill.
The Solicitor-GeneralMy noble Friend the Lord Chancellor is giving this question careful consideration. He considers that his existing powers are sufficient to enable him to make arrangements for the county courts to deal with any additional work which will result from the Bill.
