HC Deb 21 April 1958 vol 586 c54W
65. Captain Kerby

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is satisfied that the addition of one anti-submarine frigate to our antisubmarine forces in commission during the current financial year is adequate, in view of our North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and other commitments; and whether he will undertake to review the possibilities of putting further ships of this type in commission.

Mr. R. Allan

My noble Friend is satisfied that the resources available to the Royal Navy are applied so as to provide the best balance of ships, including anti-submarine frigates, to meet changing circumstances and commitments.
