Mr. Robensasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works, as representing the Lord President of the Council, how far arrangements are in operation to enable translations and extracts from Russian scientific papers made by both the United States of America and Great Britain to be interchanged.
§ Mr. H. NichollsAt present the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research is purchasing copies of the majority of translations of Russian scientific literature produced in the U.S.A. Discussions are in progress between representatives of the U.S. National Science Foundation and the D.S.I.R. with a view to improving the present arrangements for the interchange of translations.
