§ Mr. H. BrookeI have received a manifesto from the St. Pancras Metropolitan Borough Council condemning the Act and all its works, and urging restoration of rents to pre-Rent Act level. Six other authorities have expressed concern about the decontrol provisions. They are the Metropolitan Borough Councils of Camberwell, Fulham, Lewisham and Paddington; and the Boroughs of Uxbridge and Willesden.
