§ Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why he refuses to grant a visa to Franciszek Kata to pay a visit to his parents in the United Kingdom, particularly since Mr. Kata has sworn an affidavit to return to Poland as and when required to do so.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerAs has been explained in a letter to the hon. Member, a visa has been refused because in the circumstances as disclosed to me I have no confidence that if Mr. Kata were allowed to come here for a visit he would return voluntarily to Poland at the end of his permitted stay.
