HC Deb 14 November 1957 vol 577 c65W
52. Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Prime Minister if, in the Government's latest hydrogen bomb explosion, not only the local, but also the global, fall-out was negligible.

The Prime Minister

I would refer to the reply which I gave to the hon. Gentlemen the Members for Barnsley (Mr. Mason) and Uxbridge (Mr. Beswick) on Tuesday. Total global fall-out is very small and the latest explosion will have contributed to it only to a negligible extent.
