asked the Minister of Health, as representing the Lord President of the Council, whether the Joint Committee of the Medical Research Council have yet completed their investigation on the effects of small doses of alcohol on motor drivers; and when their report will be published.

Mr. Walker-Smith

The particular series of experiments which has aroused great public interest have been completed and the report is in course of preparation. It will be published as soon as possible. Some delay has been caused because the interpretation of part of the data is proving difficult.
