§ 68. Mr. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware of the general desire in the House of Commons for him to introduce the necessary legislation to deal with betting, lotteries, and gaming; and whether, in view of the disturbance recently caused at Aintree Racecourse, he will now state when the Government intend to introduce legislation to deal with anomalies in our betting laws.
