§ Sir E. BoyleArrangements to ensure early detection and treatment of spastic children rest in the main on co-operation between hospital authorities and local education authorities. The number of cases of cerebral palsy in which diagnosis is made and treatment started before the child reaches school age is increasing, but I cannot say how many local education authorities use special teams for this purpose.
