§ 95. Mr. Simmonsasked the Minister of Health how many of the 221 ex-gratia awards made under the Government scheme for civilian war injuries sustained during the 1914–18 war are still in payment; and how they compare, in amount, for each specified percentage of disability, with those payable to the same category of pensioners of the Second World War under the Ministry of Pensions and National Insurance.
§ Mr. VosperNineteen. No valid comparison can be made with awards arising from the Second World War which were calculated on a completely different basis.
