§ Mr. ProfumoThere are 69 secondary schools in Tanganyika and it is estimated that just over 1 per cent, of children of secondary school age receive secondary education. Figures for 1956 are not immediately available, but in 1955, 225 candidates sat the Cambridge Overseas School Certificate examination.
