§ 100. Mr. Fisherasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will circularise the Hungarian refugees to the effect that their chances of emigrating overseas will not be prejudiced by their undertaking temporary employment in this country.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThe preceding Home Secretary made this clear in his message to the refugees dated 20th December, 1956, and my right hon. Friend repeated it in his message dated 21st January, 1957. That advice still applies, and I do not think that any further assurance is necessary.
