§ 63. Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Minister of Defence if he is aware that there are many National Service men with a relative physically dependent on them, or who are the mainstay of an orphaned family or of a widow with a child to look after or of a widow living alone; and what steps he is taking to inform them they now have a right to compassionate release.
§ Mr. Sandys:I have no reason to think that National Service men are not well aware of the grounds on which they may apply for compassionate release.
