§ Mr. SandysDuring my recent tour in the Middle East, I had discussions with all the Government and military authorities in Aden, Kenya and Libya. The object was to obtain information upon which to base decisions regarding the strength and disposition of our forces in these areas, in conformity with the outline of policy set out in the recent Defence White Paper. I hope to be able to announce some of these decisions in the near future.
