Medlicottasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware of the continuing concern felt by many people over the conditions under which live cattle are shipped from this country for slaughter on the Continent; and if he will now inquire into the feasibility of prohibiting this trade entirely and requiring that the slaughtering shall be done in this country.
