§ 75. Mr. Liptonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what estimate he has made of the effect of increased petrol costs on farm prices.
§ Mr. GodberIt is estimated that, as a result of the recent increase in petrol prices, farmers' costs in respect of road vehicles, tractors, etc., would rise by about £7½ million in a full year. This 71W additional cost will be considered at the forthcoming Annual Review along with all other relevant factors.
