95. Mr. Ernest Davies

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the total amount realised from disposal of vehicles of the road haulage organisation of the Transport Commission and the net loss incurred after allowing for the transport levy.

The total amount realised from the disposal of British Road Services assets up to 31st December, 1956, was approximately £26 million.

On the second part of the Question I have nothing to add to the reply I gave the hon. Member on 14th November last.
