HC Deb 19 February 1957 vol 565 c38W
48. Mr. Swingler

asked the Prime Minister if in the light of the recent statement of foreign policy by M. Shepilov, he will reconsider his decision not to go to Moscow to meet the Soviet leaders after his meeting with President Eisenhower.

The Prime Minister

No. I have informed Mr. Bulganin through the Soviet Ambassador that I will keep in mind his suggestion of a new date for a visit to Moscow. I also informed him that when it seemed possible to fix such a date, I would communicate with him again.
