§ Captain Kerbyasked the Postmaster-General if, as a tribute to the work performed by women in British industry, and in the home, and to commemorate the Festival of Women being held at Wembley in June, he will give favourable consideration to the issue of a special postage stamp featuring some symbol of femininity.
§ Mr. MarplesI am sorry that it would not be possible to produce a special stamp; but I would suggest to my hon. and gallant Friend that our present stamps already bear a most gracious symbol of femininity.
