HC Deb 11 February 1957 vol 564 cc138-9W
Mr. W. Yates

asked the Minister of Health upon what day he wrote to the hon. Member for The Wrekin informing him that the Midland Regional Hospital Board had decided to provide the extension to the Wrekin Hospital and not the Wrekin Cottage Hospital.

Mr. Vosper

On 4th August, 1956, my hon. Friend the Member for Chislehurst (Miss Hornsby-Smith) wrote to my hon. Friend informing him that the original scheme at Wellington Cottage Hospital had been under review by the Regional Board which was now considering a larger extension at Wrekin Hospital.

On 30th December, 1956, she wrote informing my hon. Friend that preliminary details of the extension at Wrekin Hospital had been received and were under consideration.
