Mr. John MacLeod

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty the number of employees who will be affected by the reduction of Invergordon naval base.

Approximately 130 non-industrials and industrials will be affected by the reduction of Invergordon Naval Base. About half of them will be offered employment with the Admiralty elsewhere, the others being discharged.
