Lyle and Scott Limited, the Hawick knitwear and hosiery manufacturers; if he is aware of the contribution this firm make to our export trade; and what steps he is taking to protect this contribution to our national economy.
§ Mr. ErrollIn common, I believe, with other right hon. and hon. Members, my right hon. Friend has received representations on this subject. On the information available, it is not clear that any action on his part is called for, but the Department's officials have offered to discuss the matter with the chairman of the company.
