§ Mr. GodberThe F.A.O. Conference in Rome last month approved the Director-General's proposal to submit a report to the Economic and Social Council in 1958 dealing with various aspects of these problems, including national food reserves. While Her Majesty's Government consider a world food reserve to be impracticable, they are glad to see this further study of national food reserves.
