ThorneycroftThe Government have decided that the salaries of certain judicial officers in Scotland, including the full-time sheriffs and the sheriffs-substitute, ought to be increased to the amounts shown in the following table. The increases will take effect from the date of this announcement.

The increases will take effect from the date of this announcement and, so far as legislation is necessary for this purpose, it will be introduced as soon as possible after the Easter Recess.
