§ Mr. John McKayasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many of the 8 million persons shown in Table 28 of the White Paper on National Income and Expenditure, 1955, as having incomes up to £250 are non-contributory pensioners and National Insurance retired pensioners; and how many of these 8 million are liable to pay contributions.
