§ Mr. AlportI am aware of the request of the Louth Rural District Council : but the provision of additional medium-wave transmitters would interfere with present services. The answer to this problem is in V.H.F. working, and a V.H.F. station at Holme Moss, which is expected to provide the Louth area with satisfactory reception of all three sound programmes, will open before the end of the year.
