§ 73. Wing Commander Bullusasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what proposals have been submitted to him by the British Overseas Airways Corporation and the British European Airways Corporation for the servicing of new air routes to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and other eastern countries in the near future.
§ Mr. WatkinsonOn the recommendation of the Air Transport Advisory Council I have approved an application by British European Airways for permission to operate an air service from London to Moscow through Warsaw. Introduction of the service is dependent on the agreement of the Soviet and other Governments concerned. The Airways Corporations have not as yet submitted applications to the Council for any other services to eastern European countries.
