asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what information was supplied to Her Majesty's Government by the Israeli Government in July, 1956, concerning the amount of war material supplied to Egypt by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and her satellites; and how that information differed in degree from the information recently publicised.

Her Majesty's Government received no information from the Israel Government in July, 1956, as suggested by the hon. Gentleman. The second part of the Question does not therefore arise.
