§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will ask the Consumers' Committee set up under Section 9 of the Agricultural Marketing Act, 1931, to make a report to him on the effect of the Potato Marketing Scheme, and the actions of the Board created thereunder on the present potato shortage and high prices.
Mr. AmoryIt is already part of the statutory duty of the Consumers' Committee concerned to consider the effect on consumers of any such marketing scheme and to report as they may think fit.
