§ Mr. Aubrey JonesThe importance of fuel economy has recently been re-emphasised by the decision of the Chancellor of the Exchequer to restore the investment allowance for prescribed items of fuel saving equipment, and I shall continue to do all I can to maintain the momentum of the fuel efficiency campaign in close co-operation with the National Industrial Fuel Efficiency Service, the regional boards for industry and the other organisations concerned.
