asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in what further international consultations Her Majesty's Government have taken part since the Washington talks, on the question of ending the ban on export of commercial vehicles to China.

I would remind the hon. Member of the Prime Minister's statement on 13th February that it is hoped that proposals for the review of the strategic controls on trade with China will be brought before the China Committee of the Paris Consultative Group. This will involve the examination of individual controls.
