Mr. WardAbout 9 tons sold by weight and about 500 gallons have been disposed of in the last three months for a sum of £188. The estimated price in the United Kingdom for new paint of similar quality would be £1,100. These paints consisted of miscellaneous batches returned from ships and establishments and had been condemned as unfit for Service use. A small quantity of surplus or unserviceable aircraft paint has also been disposed of; the sums realised cannot be ascertained as the paint was auctioned in small lots which included other stores.
