asked the Minister of Supply to give a list of public auctions of Government surplus stocks held so far this year, together with those contemplated, up to 1st July, 1956, giving date and place of each auction.

Mr. Dodds

asked the Minister of Supply at what public auction was the 4,800 gallons of dark brown bituminous paint, which was declared surplus consequent upon the cessation of hostilities in Korea, offered for sale.

Mr. Maudling

The paint in question was part of that offered for sale at Woolwich on the 16th February, 1956, and at Melton Mowbray on 9th March, 1956.
