§ 76. Mr. Harold Daviesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what directions he has given under Section 5 of the Northern Rhodesia (Crown Lands and Native Reserves) Order in Council regarding the disposal of Crown Lands to Africans.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydNone. There is no legal division of Crown Land between Africans and Europeans and no legal obstacles to African ownership of Crown Land. The issue of any special directions by me is therefore unnecessary.
