§ Mr. Lennox-BoydOn the first part of the Question, preliminary work on the new Constitution is going forward in the Colonial Office, but the stage has not yet been reached for consultation. As regards the second part of the Question I would invite my hon. Friend's attention to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Brigg (Mr. E. L. Mallalieu) on 2nd May, 1956, to which I have nothing to add at this stage.
