HC Deb 15 February 1956 vol 548 cc277-8W
Viscount Hinchingbrooke

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what is the present size of the National Insurance funds; what is the income from contributions, Exchequer grants and interest, respectively; and what is the annual outgo by classes of benefit for the last accounting year.

Miss Pitt

I would ask my noble Friend to await publication of the next Accounts of the National Insurance Funds and the Government Actuary's Interim Report, both of which will, I understand, shortly be laid before the House.
