§ 75. Mr. Ian Harveyasked the Secretary of State for War what progress has been made with the building of new barracks and the renovation of old barracks since he presented the Army Estimates for 1955–56.
§ Mr. F. MacleanAt home work is in progress on 25 barracks. In addition a start has been made on three more barracks and the modernisation of two others. Overseas the main projects are the two cantonments in Cyprus, the barrack block in Gibraltar and permanent cantonments in Tripolitania and Cvrenaica.
