HC Deb 14 February 1956 vol 548 cc244-5W
77. Sir L. Plummer

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the nature of the official representations made by Tengku Abdul Rahman on the subject of the embargo on the export of Malayan rubber to China.

Mr. Hare

It was agreed with Tunku Abdul Rahman that the details of this discussion should remain confidential, and I am therefore not at liberty to reveal them. I can, however, assure the hon. Member that the Chief Ministers' representations on this subject will be sympathetically considered by Her Majesty's Government.
