§ 27. Mr. Grimondasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in view of paragraph 351 of the Herbert Committee's Report, he will review the method of supplying capital to the nationalised industries with a view to ensuring some uniformity in the methods employed, as well as giving consideration to the advantages of some part of their capital being an equity.
§ Sir E. BoyleThe report is being considered by the Minister of Fuel and Power. Since this particular point involves other nationalised industries besides the C.E.A., it will of course need to be considered in consultation with other Ministers concerned.
