asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the estimated annual increase or decrease in Government expenditure incurred on grading and other administrative work at livestock markets as a result of decontrol.

Grading and other administrative costs in the markets during control amounted to about £1,600,000 compared with about £600,000 at present.
