§ Sir D. EcclesOn the general question of undergraduate awards, I have nothing to add to what my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary said in the Adjournment debate on 29th November. On the narrower point raised in the hon. Member's Question, I would remind him that the arrangements described in Circular 315 relate only to two or three hundred post-graduate awards made by my Department annually, while local education authorities make many thousands of undergraduate awards each year.
