HC Deb 05 December 1956 vol 561 c122W
65. Mr. Teeling

asked the Minister of Defence whether, in view of the fact that motor driving instructors have now been virtually put out of work, he can find temporary work for them as driving instructors with the Armed Forces; and particularly the instructor at the Auto Driving School, Havelock Road, Brighton, particulars of whose case have been sent him.

Mr. Head

The Services are having to cut down driving training and temporary vacancies for civilian driving instructors are unlikely to arise.
