§ Mr. Oramasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he is aware of the difficulties of retail coal merchants in persuading their deliverers to carry coal up stair-cases and along lengthy garden paths and passageways; and if he will circularise local authorities 200W on this point at a suitable opportunity with a view to ensuring that in planning new housing estates and flats, local authorities' architects do not overlook the desirability of providing coal storage facilities which are quickly accessible to coal deliverers.
§ Mr. SandysI will certainly bear this suggestion in mind, but the convenience of the tenants has also to be remembered.
