HC Deb 17 April 1956 vol 551 cc62-3W
88. Mr. R. Bell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will intensify the British propaganda effort in the cold war in order to refute the distortions of unfriendly nations and to counter-attack with the truth.

Mr. Nutting

Her Majesty's Government are well aware of the need to increase the means at their disposal for presenting the British case to the world. Measures to this end have already been taken and others are now under consideration.
