§ Mr. HareA Bill implementing the Kenya Government's policy in regard to African elections as set out in Sessional Paper No. 39 of 1955–56 was debated in16W the Legislative Council on 24th February and was passed without amendment. The necessary administrative arrangements for holding African elections before March, 1957, are now being made.
