§ 3. Mr. Osborneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the total of the Czechoslovakian debts due to this country which must be settled before increased trade with Czechoslovakia will be permitted.
§ Sir E. BoyleThe total amount of the debts due from Czechoslovakia is about £23 million. We have invited the Czechoslovak Government to work out with us an arrangement for the resumption of payments in respect of these debts and to examine at the same time the question of increasing trade between our two countries.
